Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actor since 1983. Her film debut was 1983's Bad Boys, she was part of the Brat Pack group of actors. She was also a part in WarGames The Breakfast Club and Short Circuit. Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award in Best Female Role for her work on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was married David Lansbury on April 12, 1992. He was the father of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell as well as the son of Angela Lansbury. Beckett Lansbury was born in 1994. Sheedy said she has learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy was born on June 22, 1962. She is an American actor as well as a writer. Her most well-known roles include in Brat Pack's movies The Breakfast Club, and St. Elmo's Fire. The Breakfast Club: What does it mean? The title "The Breakfast Club", which is the title of this film, comes from an acronym that some schools use for detention. They are expected to show up at detention by the time for breakfast. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy now has "teacher teacher" added to her resume. She has taken her acting students under her wings at City College of New York City.
