Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. The budget of her was augmented by a stipend to students and part-time jobs. Lennox decided to change her career path following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox was initially musician with the group Dragons Playground. The group did not appear on the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was the primary voice for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she formed Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working with Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. The album was an enormous hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'll Let You Go." Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to become famous internationally in the 1980s with the Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox launched a solo career, releasing their debut record Diva that produced a number of hit songs, such as Why and Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album that features cover versions of popular songs like No MoreILove Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums by her solo, plus one compilation album, are the result of her efforts. |
